What they do
The PCN manager supports GP surgeries by coordinating network projects, managing funding and budgets, leading workforce planning, and ensuring delivery of national and local PCN services (such as Enhanced Access or ARRS recruitment).
They act as the operational lead for the network liaising with surgeries, community partners, the ICB, and other stakeholders to improve patient care, streamline processes, and ensure the PCN meets its contractual requirements. They also oversee performance reporting, support quality improvement, and help develop strategic plans for the network’s growth and sustainability.
