Hello, I’m Joe, a pharmacist working within the PCN, based at both St Georges and Teehey Lane surgeries.
With over 10 years of experience as a pharmacist, I have spent the last 2 years in primary care. To further enhance my expertise, I recently completed the CPPE primary care education pathway and will commence my prescribing course later this year. I lead medication review clinics at both surgeries, focusing on chronic condition management.
Additionally, I collaborate with other clinicians across both practices, providing medication-related advice and support, including guidance on stock shortages and managing medication side effects. I also carry out audits to help improve the services we provide. I find it very rewarding to support both our patients and the healthcare team in delivering the best care possible.
